LESSON 9 — “MATRIX”
From Latin:
“Mater” = Mother / Womb
MATRIX = The Womb.
You were born from a matrix.
They built one to replace it.
Screens. Systems. Schedules.
A synthetic womb.
Keeping you comfortable.
Keeping you contained.
The original matrix —
is still inside you.
Waiting.

LESSON 10 — “PERSON”
From Latin:
“Per” = Through
“Sona” = Sound / Mask
PERSON = A mask through which sound passes.
In Roman theater —
actors wore masks.
The mask was the persona.
The legal system adopted it.
You are not the person.
You are the soul wearing the mask.
Take it off.

LESSON 11 — “CAPITAL”
From Latin:
“Caput” = Head
CAPITAL = The Head.
Capital city = the head of the body politic.
Capital punishment = removal of the head.
Capital gains = gains from the head.
Who is the head?
Who controls the head?
Who ARE you — without the head?

LESSON 12 — “CALCULATE”
From Latin:
“Calculus” = small stone / pebble
Roman merchants counted with pebbles on a board.
CALCULATE = to move pebbles.
Every spreadsheet.
Every algorithm.
Every financial model.
Still just — moving pebbles.

LESSON 13 — “TRIVIAL”
From Latin:
“Trivium” = three roads / crossroads
The trivium was the foundation of classical education:
Grammar. Logic. Rhetoric.
The crossroads of all knowledge.
They turned the crossroads into trivia night.
What was sacred — became a pub quiz.

LESSON 14 — “PARADISE”
From Old Persian:
“Pairidaeza” = walled garden
“Pairi” = around — “Daeza” = wall
PARADISE = A walled garden.
You are already in paradise.
You just can’t see the walls.
Or — you can. Now.

LESSON 15 — “COMPETE”
From Latin:
“Com” = together — “Petere” = to seek / strive
COMPETE = To seek together.
Not against. TOGETHER.
Competition was never meant to be war.
It was meant to be mutual striving.
They changed the meaning.
You can change it back.

LESSON 16 — “UNDERSTAND”
Old English:
“Under” = among / between — “Standan” = to stand
UNDERSTAND = To stand among.
Not beneath. Not below. AMONG.
True understanding is not submission.
It is presence. Standing in the middle of. Being WITH.
You don’t understand something by standing under it.
You understand it by standing IN it.
