The Seed. The Root. The Declaration.

Before the Road. Before the Bounder. Before Any of This.

The manifestation journey didn’t begin in 2016.

It began in 2008 — when a domain was registered. A quiet act. A declaration to the universe that something was coming — even before the full picture was clear.

Doc’s Apothecary came first — where it all began. An apothecary built on the ancient understanding that the earth provides everything the body needs. Herbs. Roots. Botanicals. Water. The original pharmacy — before anyone decided to patent it.

The water was foundational from Day 1 — discovered during the apothecary’s construction — quickly rolled into everything. The geyser. The creek. The frequency. Bill the Water Guy was already in the story before the story had a name.

The domain was the seed. The apothecary was the first root. Everything that followed — the foundation, the Bounder, the mission, the tribe — grew from that moment in 2008.

That’s not a backstory. That’s a prophecy that kept its word.

ACT II — THE STORM

The Con. The Collapse. The Rebuild.

After years in corporate tech — as a contractor and consultant aligned by the universe, pioneering the integrated circuit design world — everything was lost.

Retirement. Savings. A roof overhead.

Conned and stolen from by a once-trusted ally. Put out to pasture. Homeless. Son in arms.

We could have let that define us.

Instead, we made a choice: to take the worst thing that ever happened to us, and turn it into something that benefits humanity.

That’s not just a tagline. That’s the reason this exists.

From that abandoned house in Tempe — no running water — storms taking what little remained — a father up at 2am for bottle feedings — and building. On a maxed-out cell phone data plan, the Omni Foundation was built. Because his son needed him to. And quitting was never an option.

ACT III — THE VILLAGE

Gilbert, Arizona. The Family. The Pigeon.

Then something remarkable happened.

A family in Gilbert, Arizona heard about our situation. They didn’t just offer help — they helped us pack, and opened their home. For six years, they took us in. Medical care. Trips across the border for dental work. Stability when there was none.

The son grew up as part of the family — home cooked meals, learning to sew, to cook, to do chores, get an allowance, make tamales, bake cakes. Tennis and music lessons — violin and piano. Legos, kittens, cats, dogs — and a father who had the space and time to keep building the foundation.

We don’t take that lightly. Not for a single day.

ACT IV — THE ROAD

The Bounder. The Mission. The Coffee.

We helped paint and prep the house to sell — but it was time to head north, as they headed south. A good friend had already found us a 1990 Bounder motorhome sitting in a storage lot — leaky roof and all. Oddly enough, it hadn’t fixed itself in the decade it sat there. 😄

We hit the road.

Today, parked in Paradise Valley, North Phoenix — roof fixed, cabinets rehung, repurposed wood flooring installed — in the backyard of that same good friend’s excavating business. We wake up every SonRise, make coffee, and build RV & Wild™.

Why coffee?

Because coffee was there through all of it. The 2am feedings. The storms. The years of rebuilding. The kindness of friends who became family. Every impossible SonRise and every hard-won victory — there was always a cup.

RV & Wild™ is small-batch, freshly roasted coffee and tea for people who know that life isn’t always easy — but it’s always worth it. For the road warriors. The survivors. The builders. The parents who show up no matter what. And for everyone who has ever shown up for someone else when it mattered most.
