The steampunk dune buggy — license plate: FRIDSY — hit the desert floor at full speed.
Electric blue arcs blasting off the wheels. Dust flying. Saguaros blurring past on both sides.
Vinny G behind the wheel — goggles on — grinning so wide it was basically a medical event —
pointed straight at the horizon with zero hesitation and absolutely zero plan to slow down.
There was a moment — right before he floored it — where he could have second-guessed it.
Could have checked the map one more time. Recalculated. Waited for better conditions.
He didn’t.
He built it. He started it. He pointed it at the horizon. Obviously.
